Stereotypes

All women
Are skinny And weak
And have long hair
And pretty
And have children
All men
Are muscular
And strong
and handsome
And have short hair
And have children
Women do chores
And men go to work
Women like men
Men like women

All one society
A "perfect" society.

1per·fect, adj \ˈpər-fikt\

a : being entirely without fault or defect : flawless

This is not perfect.

  1. WOW, Solana, such an intense feeling emanated from this feeling (in a good way). The things you wrote are painstakingly true stereotypes, and I feel like the line breaks you used worked really well adding to the tone of the poem. Also, I love the ending, it sounds so strong. Amazing job.

  4. I think this poem is really cool and unusual. It's raw, and it just says what has to be said. There's so much that isn't included, and you really just have to interpret it the way you choose to. It's a really interesting style, and it's pretty far out there. Great job!
